As part of the global focus on security, the NOL Group through APL and APL Logistics is involved in a number of initiatives designed to help build a stronger, more secure supply chain. These security initiatives are part of a collective industry-wide effort to guard against international terrorism and other acts that also threaten our people, our operations, and our customers' businesses.

APL and APL Logistics are contributing in the development of workable solutions aimed at improving supply chain security while minimising the impact on the flow of trade.

Along with other carriers, supply chain managers, shippers and US Customs and other government agencies, we are involved in impactful initiatives such as the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).

In addition, we are constantly reviewing our procedures to ensure, wherever possible, we have robust systems in place. We have already moved to further enhance security practices in key areas of our operations.

Our security focus is integrated into day-to-day operations in a way that - together with our supporting company culture - seeks to provide our employees with a secure work environment as much as we can, and minimises the security risks to our customers' cargo and our assets.
